School uniform exchange

Through Leeds School Uniform Exchange we make it easy for families to access great quality, second-hand uniform for free, helping them save money whilst also being kinder to the planet.

What we’re doing

We’ve set up Leeds School Uniform Exchange - making it as easy as possible for people across Leeds to share good quality second hand school uniform. You can find out more - including where your nearest exchange is - on our website.

Why we’re doing it

We think good things happen when we work with local people to come up with ideas that have big social impacts as well as clear environmental benefits. With Leeds School Uniform Exchange we're helping to save families across Leeds money, whilst also cutting down on waste.

Clothing creates 1.2 billion tonnes of CO₂

Every year, global emissions from textile production are equivalent to 1.2 billion tonnes of CO2, a figure that outweighs the carbon footprint of international flights and shipping combined.
